The most memorable experiences I have had while travelling were heading off the beaten track with locals/friends, seeing how they live and exploring the local side of a country.

I'm on couch surfing to find these experiences when I am abroad, and to share this opportunity with visitors in my own home too.

Seeing the Himalayas while hiking for 3 weeks was an amazing experience and has inspired me to do more of the great walks around the world and at home.
