ABOUT ME

'All about you'. That's heavy man. I grew up on a farm near the most rural town in small town New Zealand , surrounded by sheep and beer-drinking babies. I'm Real NZ 100% pure. Lord Of The Rings and all that. I'm an extra in Avatar. James Cameron called us 'Mexicans with cellphones', which is offensive to more than one racial group... Spent my final year of Sigh School snowboarding and enjoying the beautiful South Island (grades dropped as snowboarding skills increased). Moved to Wellington (the San Fran and also the Capital of NZ ) for University. Met lots of great people, brain grew bigger till I needed a new skull. Got that. Had a great time (grades increased again as I did fun things like journalism and illustration). Between times I worked and traveled: South East Asia (all of it), North America, Europe and Canada (some), and Central America (Belize, Guatemala, Mexico...). I love travel and the people and parties and NEEEEWWWW SHIT!. I'm looking to make cake off my art and keep making friends. I'm in San Fran right now and it feels like home.

'Why do you live your life?' Why not? I got 'Feelings' too. And 'Thoughts' Lots of those.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm meeting great people in hostels and on the street. I just joined Couch Surfing yesterday (15th September 2011). I'm hoping this will make it even easier to meet new people and find new fun. I'm keen to help by lending a couch when I get back to NZ and get set up again (if that happens)...

I've surfed on couches in London, Wellington, Canada... The surf was good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last night at 16th and Mission. Democracy in action - the real kind: loud and messy and minus the million dollar ad campaigns. Hobos, hipsters, Tom Waits and Joe Strummer types, screaming Souxie banshees and shy librarians all in a circle yelling and singing, reading poetry, playing music, drinking and smashing bottles. Art in action. I performed. It was fun.
