Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about couchsurfing culture from my favorite travel show "Oryol i Reshka" (Heads & Tails in English). I was genuinely amazed of how kind and accepting people can be even towards strangers from foreign countries. That feeling really inspired me. So, since then I have always been curious to experience this unique opportunity myself. As I am an international student in EU, I want to explore more countries and finally get acquainted with another special community.

Music, Movies, and Books

From music, I like mostly pop although I'm a melomane (if that's the word for someone who listens to every genre). I am a new Swiftie and my absolute favorite TS song is All Too Well (the 10mv) and from the newest album, I vibe with "Down Bad" a lot.

Movies - I am mainly a tv series geek (Friends, Big Bang Theory, Sense8, Dark, One Day), but I enjoy watching movies as well. The ones I love are Harry Potter series (3rd one is my fav), Notting Hill, La La Land, Call Me By Your Name and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am part of this volunteer-based network called European Youth Parliament (EYP) where we as young people organise events (mostly in the form of fun conferences) for us and other young people all over the Europe. I am proud of being part of this initiative because I have first-hand seen a lot of young teenagers grow, acquire new skills and learn about topical issues in Europe through the work we do. Lastly, EYP sessions (that's how we call the conferences) bring so many people together from different countries and cultures. I have met couple of my best friends through EYP. If this sounds fun and you wanna hear/know more, send me a dm or check out eyp.org or @eyp_network on Instagram.

As I'm great at languages, I can teach Russian, English and my native Armenian.

I can share my experience as an international student, my culture and snacks^^
