I have a love for learning and discovering, I love the natural world, I also love getting to know people and sharing stories, new adventures and trying new things..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to simply see all the things, I want to LIVE all the things.

I find hostel life a little exhausting, I would much rather get to know people in smaller groups or one-on-one. I'm all for a drink here and there, but there's so much more to travel for me and I would prefer to make genuine connections along the way.

I love to travel - But I hate being a tourist. For me, being in a new country is less about 'seeing', and all about 'experiencing'. ..My main goal whilst travelling is to experience and learn as much as possible from a new culture and it's people. I hope that couchsurfing will make that easier, a more genuine experience, meeting real people.

Interests

I love photography, reading, discovering our natural world, rock climbing/bouldering, occasionally skateboarding (longboarding or cruising), hiking...anything outdoors and active.

Music, Movies, and Books

I buy books faster than I can read them.
Favorite authors include Gibran, Coelho, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Rumi, and many, many more.
I also love reading non-fiction books about topical issues and psychology. I usually have a non-fiction and a fiction on the go at any one time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cheated death 3 times in New Zealand.

Living in Italia was a life dream realised, it taught me so much, like how when everything goes wrong you are faced with yourself and the world, and where you fit in it - even when you don't seem to fit in it at all. Life is a beautiful beautiful teacher.
