Overview
About Me
I have a strong passion for travel and am eager to learn about and experience other cultures.
Growing up I was lucky enough to come from a family that loved to travel. Before attending college I took a gap year and spent time living in Chile and Spain, as well as traveling around Europe and North Africa.
I have continued to travel over the years and spent two semesters abroad in college, one in Tunisia and one in Serbia. They were amazing experiences. Part of what made them so amazing was that I lived with host families and felt I was really able to engage with the community I lived in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While visiting other countries I want to be able to meet locals and hear their perspectives on their culture, politics, food, etc. I also like visiting less touristy sites and find that locals always know the best places to see and visit in their cities.
Interests
I love most things that involve being outside. I try to run at least five days a week, I also enjoy hiking, biking, and am trying to get into rock climbing. I also enjoy baking and cooking.
