ABOUT ME
Currently working as a teacher in Finland. I am outgoing, funny (hopefully!), friendly, and am always up for an adventure. I have met my closest friends through travels and exchanges. Everyday I am blown away by where my life has led me, I cant wait for the next adventure!
PHILOSOPHY
You only have one life... live it! I live my life the way I do because I want to make the most of everyday and see as much of the world and meet as many people as I can. Always treat every living thing with kindness, and make sure to laugh everyday. Don't let other peoples judgement affect the actions that you take in your life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in a remote camp near Bhutan in Costa Rica as part of a Leatherback Turtle conservation project. We went on 12 km beach patrols in the middle of the night to protect the turtles from the local poachers. To see the turtles come up on the beach in the middle of the night and be able to come close to take measurements was incredible. Being able to collect the eggs to take back to safety as she was laying them gave me a sense of accomplishment that you had improved another creatures life.
Teach, Learn, Share
When I was younger, I always made my decisions based on the emotions and opinions of others and it stopped me from taking actions that I wanted to take. A couple of years ago, I decided to graduate high school early and move to Tasmania to start work experience in the marine biology world. My friends at school didn't quite understand, and did not fully support my idea of going. By taking the risk and ignoring the judgement of others, my time in Tasmania led me to meeting people that have changed my life. What I am trying to say is to follow your passions and don't let anything or anyone stand in the way of what you want. If you want it, go for it. Everyday counts.
