To create as many interesting stories to tell me grand kids when I'm old and wrinkley, and some stories that perhaps I wont tell them too ; )

ABOUT ME

I love to travel. I like to get off the beaten track and explore places less understood. I never want to stop learning.

I'm currently on the road again, having just spent 2 months treking in Nepal and also travelling through India, and have previously been through the Middle East, Northern Africa, Europe, USA, Iceland, Fiji, Indo, New Zealand and a few other places along the way.

I'm a jeweler by trade, and have also worked as a bar/restaurant manager, international travel consultant, high ropes instructor, adventure tour guide, ice cream 'attendant', shop assistant, camp counsellor, paper girl, phone opperator, and just about anything else you want to throw at me... there's a good chance I've had a crack at it.

I love food and wine and music and art and camping and bushwalking and the beach. I like to hear stories and meet interesting people and to explore, learn, appreciate, understand, and enjoy as much of this beautiful life as I can.

Also... everybody has a story to tell... you just have to take the time to listen.

PHILOSOPHY

Like I said to create as many interesting stories and memories as possible because when Im old, and my body may not work so well any more, at least (i hope) i will have my memory and lots of great friends and family to keep me company.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Don't watch too many movies, but music is another thing entirely. I love dub, reggae, blues, folk, rock, international... actually, I love a lot of different types. I love a lot of the music comming out of New Zealand at the moment, especially dub. Black Seeds, Salmonella Dub, Fat Freddies Drop, Fly My Pretties, Symbiosis, G. Love, Gladiator, Blue King Brown are all examples, but also Regina Spektor, Sigor Ros, Elton John, Norah Jones, Sinatra, Fiona Apple, Xavier Rudd, Lior.....

Swam outside in Iceland in the middle of winter. Slept under the stars in the desert in Jordan. Crossed many middle eastern borders without visa's (probably not recommended though). Climbed to the top of Mt Saini through the night for sunrise in Egypt. Swam with sharks in Fiji. Appreciated the impossible kindness of the locals in Iran. Found 14% alc beer in Syria. Seen turtles swimming in the ocean from the main street of Beirut. Been offered 39 camels for my hand in marriage in Morocco. Thought I had died and woken up in a fairy tale in Sintra, Portugal. Participated in the worlds largest sangria fight in Spain. Had my bags searched under suspision of terrorism for carrying bullets (they were tampons) in Quatar. Got frostbite climbing to 5500m's in the Himalayas. Have been blessed by an elephant in Hampi, India. Been the first Australian to ever enter a particular Down Under joint in the USA. Been kissed out of the blue on the street by a stranger who smelled like pizza in Italy. Did a snow angel on the top of Mount Jungfrau, naked, in Switzerland.....

I'd love to meet people who I can practice my poor spanish with. I am trying to learn!
I can teach you how to cook some yummy meals, how to appreciate cheap wine when you cant afford anything better, how to wear a burqua without it sliding off your head, how to create origami wonders, how to catch snakes....
