Hi, I’m Hazel!

I’m currently in Malta, and I’m a Maltese-Canadian world traveler who’s visited 13 countries (and counting!). 🌍 Music is my greatest passion—I’m a professional rock and roll performer with over 500 live shows under my belt and a repertoire of more than 700 songs. 🎸🎤 Music is meant to be shared, and that’s why I love it so much. It has the power to connect people, create joy, and change someone’s day—or even their life.

I’m always happy to teach music, especially guitar or electric guitar. If you’re looking to learn music, especially guitar, then I’m definitely a great friend for you. 🎶 I can teach you guitar very quickly, and we’ll have a lot of fun doing that. It’s so much easier when someone shows you how, and I truly believe anyone can learn!

In addition to being a musician, I work in social media marketing and video production. 🎥📸 Filmmaking, photography, and storytelling fuel my creativity, and I love using these skills to help others share their stories.

I absolutely love learning about new cultures, trying new experiences, and connecting with people from around the world. 🌎 I’m currently learning Spanish, French, Italian, and Polish, and I’m always eager to pick up new words and phrases. 🗣️

Food is one of my greatest joys in life! I love, love, love eating food, cooking food, and trying new dishes from all around the world. 🍴 Whether it’s a cozy home-cooked meal or street food from a local vendor, I’m always excited to explore different flavors.

Rain or shine, I’m always in a positive attitude. 😊 I love life and its challenges, and I’m so happy to meet more people. Couchsurfing has always given me positive experiences, and I can’t wait to share more adventures with amazing hosts.

As a guest, I’m clean, organized, and travel very light. I also love contributing to the house! 🏡 Hosts I’ve stayed with before have appreciated my help cleaning the kitchen and tidying up. 🧹 I always try to leave spaces even better than I found them.
