I'm a 23 year-old Biology Graduate from Imperial College London and I'm about to set out on my second trip to Australia! I love every aspect of travelling from the absurdly long bus journeys which never seem to end to the late night hostel check ins and early morning adventures. I live to explore, experience and learn about the people and places I visit and I'm always happy to lend a helping hand in any odd jobs where I can. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I previously WWOOFed (Willing Workers On Organic Farms) in Australia and loved meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences. It was amazing to be welcomed into families and get to grips with their day to day life, while also exploring the surrounding areas. WWOOFING was a great way to travel and meet people and get great tips about the best haunts in the area. I've also done a reasonable amount of hostelling and hotelling on my various travels and I'm now interested in trying something new.

I'm looking to meet some interesting individuals or families, and get to grips with their every day life (and help out where I can) as well as have a base to explore the area.

My spotify is forever set to shuffle and throws out a variety of things from Bob Dylan to Taylor Swift to Bon Iver to The White Stripes to 'The best of Andrew Lloyd Webber' to The Smiths to Joni Mitchell to The Staves to Paolo Nutini to T. Rex to the complete Lord of the Rings Soundtrack... for example. I like listening to music and love being introduced to cool stuff to add to the shuffle.

My favourite books tend to be SciFi and Fantasy based series, I love the Disc World Books, His Dark Materials, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicals of the Narnia, Harry Potter, Dune, A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), The Crucible Series, and The Little Prince. Although I've also read Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice multiple times... And I enjoy most genres of books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I did on my last big trip was volunteer at the Tolga Bat Sanctuary outside of Cairns Australia. Fruit bats are like puppies with wings and I love them.
