Overview
About Me
I am from Hanoi, Vietnam and currently studying in Minnesota, United States. I spend most of my time reading, making connection, traveling, writing, reflecting and caring for my plants :)
I love meeting new friend and listen to your unique stories. My favorite topics to discuss are cultures, philosophy, psychology and history. But I also like a cup of tea and chatting about random things!
Philosophy: Amor Fati
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is just an amazing way to travel: making friends, having conversations, exchanging knowledge and cultural heritage, learning about a city from the people living there. Also a way to give and receive.
Interests
I love learning, whichever form can get me excited: reading books, listening to TED talks, taking classes or having conversations. Most of the topics I spend time on are history, philosophies, politics, science, psychology and anthropology. I am particularly fascinated by Greek mythology, Hinduism, Buddhism, Socrates, behavioral economics, post-WWII history, cultures and all different ways of living in this world.
Traveling is my favorite way of learning. I simply love being surrounded by an unfamiliar language and social setting.
I also enjoy watching tennis, doing yoga, reading, playing guitar and gardening in my free time. I’m quite into cooking recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling by myself to Malaysia, Cambodia and Singapore at the age of 19. It was such a humbling experience, and I am forever grateful for the people I met on this trip, memories, reflections, encouragement, all together.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to think that teaching and learning both happen through sharing. I can definitely offer some good conversations, insights about countries I have lived in or my stories/ reflection. Above that, I would love to learn about yours!
