About Me
After graduating from university in London I am spending a year travelling the world with my long term boyfriend, Joe. We are a fun easy going couple who appreciate that the best way to get to know a new place is through the local people. We love meeting new people and exploring new cultures.
Our favourite way to explore new places is to spend the day walking around and getting lost, finding unique experiences. We also love trying the different local dishes (despite being vegetarians!).
Joe often gets involved with fishing anywhere he can with his travel sized rod, which is a fun way to meet locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have loved staying in homestays around the world and learning more about the different cultures in each place. After speaking to many other travellers we have decided to get involved with couch surfing. We think the best way to understand and fully appreciate a new place is through interacting with local people. We love meeting new people and would love to be shown hidden gems in new places that only locals would know about, seeing the real place rather than only the touristic parts!
I have also done a lot of volunteer work in England and so if a host can help me get involved with some volunteering in their country I would really enjoy that :)

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can help with practicing English if it isn’t your first language, or start with the basics of Spanish!
Learn: I would love to learn more about photography as I really enjoy taking photos on my iPhone and am considering buying a camera when we return to England. I also love to learn more about cooking in different parts of the world!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can talk about travel experiences and different places.
I will also put my home on couchsurfing when I return to England and have a home in the future!
