ABOUT ME

I like sports and often go to (if I am in Auckland) Piha or up north for the day for a surf. Spare boards and wetsuits for CS.

if the surf is not so good then I try to get the boat out at least once a week in summer, even sometimes a trip to Waiheke Island.

I have a house in Panama Road , Mt Wellington, Auckland..

Close to Silva park train station or Panama road is off Mt Wellington highway if you come by bus...there is plenty of transport from the city britomart..

Normally we just host CSers for a day or 2

I am also on wwoof work , or work in exchange for food and board...We want people to stay for a week or two and work for 4-5 hours a day.

It will suit people who want to learn about construction , its hard work , but its rewarding work. Maybe if you are good there will be some paid work too.

Sometimes I head to my holiday home at Hokio Beach about 1 and a half hours north of Wellington.

This is a lifestyle place and not a working farm. But there are plenty of farms nearby

CS are welcome to come to the farm and stay, it is a great place to chill out. There are lots of cool places to visit and you will get a taste of real New Zealand.

The Tararua Forest Park is only about 15 mins from the farm (by car) you get in via the Ohau Entrance, I have put some photos on the CS site, it is a really amazing rain forest walk and you can either do a walk for a few hours or a few days. This is a national park, and there are huts that you and stay in over night or if you want to camp. A mate has a place, a converted wool shed at the other end of the track in Otaki Forks which would make a great 2 days tramp. I suggest you Google.

If you do come then it is easy to get to as it is just off state highway 1 and I can met you in Levin and take you to the farm.

So if you are up for a bit of rural life then you are welcome.

There is a cool beach about 15 min walk from here, which is a great place to take a horse for a ride. There are horses here
