CURRENT MISSION

My most recent crazy mission has taken me to London for summer. Working away and exploring all the little closets of London. Hopefully will get to know a new city, meet interesting people, go on a canal boat and eat Felafel in Camden!

ABOUT ME

I'm a person of opposites...
I'm a geek at heart and like to learn random pieces of information, but also love nothing more than to follow an impulse and have fun at the same time
I like getting to know I place, but sometimes the best thing to do is to uproot and visit somewhere new.
A cup of tea vs. a pint of cider would be a hard choice. I'm not embarassed to go into a nice bar and be the girl that orders a "man's drink".
I like the sunshine, but also the cold. Nothing better than a walk on a frosty morning (which is most of the year round in Scotland)
I like a nice vegi meal - felafel please :) but a cheeseburger wouldnt go to waste on me either!

I thik I'm a pretty happy and spontaneous person and when on holidays from university where I'm studying I like to travel and meet new and interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

It's such a cliche but so true. Live Life.
Dont waste it. Do something. If you want to go somewhere, go. If you want to do something, do it.

I try to have fun and be spontaneous, but have achieved something by the end of it! That's why I'm studying to be a doctor - this is what I want to do by the end. But by the time that comes I expect to have had a laugh, gotten drunk in the randomest of places, met people completely different to me, and done some of the things I've always wanted to do.
God thats a philosophy for someone whos still a teenager, eh?!

To be honest, I just like doing new things. I want to meet new people and make friends in new cities. I'm also more than happy to meet up with people in my home city, Glasgow, and put them up for a while if I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I get really into a good film or book. In fact, reading a good book could keep me amused for days.

I love music - a bit of everything really. Gigs are good, as is listening to my iPod on a sunny day in the park.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The very north of Scotland is like another world. I have visited Loch Dubh, the "Black Loch". Legend has it a sea-monster lives below its depths. There is infact cars at the bottom that nobody knows how got there. I, however, have swam to the middle, climbed the waterfull and jumped into the water from a cliff heigher than the height of a house. The most exhilirating moment of my life.

Teach. I'm a little piggy bank of useless information. Common sense I have zero though!

Learn. Teach me something new. A recipe for cake your granny gave you, or how to get drunk and avoid a hangover?
