HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love travel but hostels/hotels can be the loneliest and most boring places on earth. I participate in CS to maximise sharing of unique experiences. This usually involves me drinking wine with you somewhere cool.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have met some top people and shared some great moments.

兴趣

What I like most is cooking, eating and drinking. I particularly like cooking and sharing food with my mates. Currently my most ambitious effort has been a medieval feast for 20 people for my birthday. Everyone's costumes were great. The food was "OK" (I blame both myself and the standard of medieval food in general for this) and I didn't get around to serving dessert until after 2am but everyone got drunk and had fun so who gives a shit?

I also dig sustainable agriculture (pun intended muthalicka!), jokes in bad taste, not showering after being in the ocean, laughing at myself while drunk, going bush, twilight bodysurfing, being dirty, coming clean, candlelight and unexpected seagulls.

I've been wanting to cook an arancini type dessert with balls of vanilla and chocolate ice cream wrapped in thick rice pudding, rolled in gingerbread crumbs and fried until golden brown. I've never made it before but I think it'll be good and maybe we can learn how to make it together.
