ABOUT ME

I grew up in Alaska. I found it cold and unnavigable, and so I left. I tried and tried and tried to live in Washington, but it just kept raining, for five years. I stayed a while in Oregon, in the city and on the coast. Then I headed south, stopping in Colorado to plant some seeds and watch them grow. Right now I find myself in Maryland, and it's starting to get cold. I like to move around! I like to stay in one place! So is life. I like to cook food, and ferment things and tend gardens, I like to walk in the woods.  I like to watch people making music and to dance and to take photographs of things that are in front of me. If you let me sleep on your couch, I will be pleasent and small. Unless you enjoy vulgar and loud company, because I can do that, too.I will also give you a haircut, stick and poke tattoo and/or body piercing, in exchange for your kindness, if you so desire.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only had the pleasure of surfing, as I am traveling and do not have a couch to my name. But I participate in surfing by cooking and helping to clean up and sometimes, if i am rich, buying some beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, when I was a child, I went to the Alaska Zoo and stuck my hand in to the cage where the baby black bears were, and I tried to feed them some leaves, and then the baby bear licked my hand. Stupid and Amazing.
