I am moving to Barcelona with my boyfriend in August. We are planning to view some apartments when we arrive but we are hoping to couchsurf initially because 1 - it is a brilliant way to meet cool people in the city and 2 - Air bnb and SO expensive!

Trekking through the jungle to El Mirador La Danta pyramid in Guatemala with 3 friends carrying nothing but basic rations and a hammock to sleep in. Relying of the kindness of strangers who shared their food and sold us rainwater, getting lost in untouched nature, eating unusual fruits from the trees, listening to the sounds of the howler monkeys, watching the sunset from the top of La Danta and feeling overwhelmed at the magnificent 360 degree treetop views all the way to Mexico, drifting off to sleep as fireflies swarmed around my hammock bed in the trees. On remerging from the jungle 6 days later covered in sweat, dirt, blisters, bruises and insect bites I have never felt more content, connected and alive!

I am a qualified and experienced yoga teacher who is happy to share practice with hosts!

I can also teach graphic design, art and English (work examples available at www.hazelwatson.co.uk). I love to collaborate on art and craft projects especially using found materials or up-cycling discarded items. Recently I have been practising sign writing and mural art so am happy to paint on anyone's wall if they allow me the privilege!

Hoping to learn more about permaculture and sustainable living. Also to spend more time in the ocean surfing, snorkelling and diving.

I love to share interesting conversations over food and drinks. And hopefully meet some rock climbing buddies to share adventures with too.
