ABOUT ME

I like meeting people and discovering the world I've never been, or I get used to live in. I like communicating with people who have different perspectives from me, no matter where they come from or how old they are. :)

I'm a forth year student in Niigata university and taking sociology. Currently, I'm writing a thesis of the community place for junior high school and high school students. Also, I'm interested in international relations so taking some classes to discuss the problems and share the thoughts with each other.

I'm also interested in studying languages, especially, English and Spanish! I sometimes teach Japanese for foreigners in Niigata, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first experience of CS is that my senior friend asked me to host two guests in Niigata. I didn't know what to do, but the guests were so great and I had really nice time with them. Then, I decided to use the CS because I also love traveling and talking with each other.
I often host travelers who come to Niigata. My current dream is to visit people who I have met through the couch surfing :)

Interests

My hobby is playing the piano and the clarinet. I continue my music activity in a wind orchestra club. I like musical and singing a song as well. The Glee is my favorite music TV show. :)

I'm interested in studying other languages. Especially, I try to improve my English skill. In my university, I studied Russian as well (but unfortunately I cannot speak at all because I didn't use it.. trying to use it now lol ).

I love running, too! I still remember one day I ran with couch surfers together! It was such a nice morning. :)

Recently, I love cooking. I'm just interested in what I should eat, like what is good for my body. I want to have a good meal with people who I really love! My dream is that I get good cooking skills and share the meal with a lot of people :) Should be fun :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I love several kinds of music, like classic, jazz, country, and pop English music.

Movies:
I don't often watch movies but I'm interested in discovering movies! What do you recommend?

Books:
I like reading. I love books! Most of the books I read are Japanese ones...
Japanese novels, essays, journals, and sometimes social science books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last winter, I went to Cebu, Philippine to show an orchestra for kids there. It was such a nice experience to see many adorable kids and become friends with them :) Now I really can believe that music can unites the world. :)
