ABOUT ME

I'm a young professional who just swapped coasts here in the old USA. I was born and raised in Cleveland, then lived in Rochester, NY for six years now I have been transplanted on the left coast into a small town that could fit into half of Cleveland Browns Stadium. Everyday is a new and exciting adventure out here! I'm currently trying to get into trail cycling and become more culinary awesome.
Since landing in Sonoma I have become quite a wino and foodie. I'm counting on my Sonoma parks access pass to help me counter-act that calorie-wise in 2013. If you want to wine tasting or hiking in Sonoma I would be a willing guide for sure!
My 2013 outdoor goal is get out and spend a few days in the desolation wilderness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been on CS for awhile, but haven't been active. I want change that this year. My brother recommended I join when I moved to Rohnert Park. I have a place in town and am happy to host people who find themselves caught between SF and wine country.

None so far... I'm working on it!

Interessen

Camping, hiking, backpacking, coffee, billiards, bumming around, music, movies, more coffee, going for walks in the rain, enjoying life and trying new things. It's hard to beat a good glass of wine and a good book. And always meeting excellent people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

For movies I always go the action route. If I want something challenging, dramatic, or insightful then I will read a book. But if If paying way too much for 2 hours of escapist entertainment I expect at least 8 things to blow up. If it is over the top, cheesy and just a fun time I love it. The exception to the rule is Shawshank Redemption and an occasional comedy.

Musically I do everything but hip-hop and screaming metal.

Books- anything and everything, usually on recommendations from friends. Right now I'm big into all sorts of fantasy/adventure books, and an occasional cook book.

Selling off everything you own that wont fit into a few suitcases and starting a life on the opposite coast isn't as scary as it seems. If anything it helps to realize what you really need to get by. So far my friends and family are the only things I'm missing.
