About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To finish my Masters Degree in Copenhagen, Denmark.

ABOUT ME

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for me to see the world and to meet other people. I suppose as more people you met on a journey, who actually come from the country you travel in the more you can understand and enjoy the country.

besides the wish to travel and my studies i enjoy finding new corners of my community on my bicycle and taking pictures in my spare time.

PHILOSOPHY

Until you dig a hole, you plant a tree, you water it and make it survive, you haven't done a thing. You are just talking. -Wangari Maathai

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first surfed in Montreal, Canada during a conference for experiential education. The lovely couch surfing hosts gave me a new perspective on what it is like to live in the city of Montreal. Although, I personally do not have my own home to host surfers, my experiences thus far with the lovely people I have surfed with have given me a reason to actually desire to have a home one day - so I can return the amazing experiences I have been granted to future surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Montreal, Canada and since then I have surfed in Switzerland in the city of Geneva, in the small town of Aigle as well as a few cities in Germany. My first experience was during the time of Halloween and the french-quebec artists I was staying with hosted a fantastic party where all of their artist friends arrived in the most eccentric and outrageous costumes they made themselves.

Interests

I love learning about other cultures and the different ways people get along all over the world. I'm in a program right now that focuses on Environmental Management in Europe and there are 52 people from 34 different countries in the program. This kind of learning is what totally engages me. I love nature and being apart of it whether its snowboarding in the mountains, climbing boulders or swimming in the sea.
