Overview
About Me
A very flexible guy, I adapt well to adverse conditions. The thing I love most about life is meeting cool people and traveling. Oh, and I love to eat! Hahaha
I am very, very curious, I really like to know different things and I am in a moment of life very focused on studies and researches.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I have seen that it is a nice way to receive people at home, which I love, and also be received without spending much money, which I also like very much! I have always had this practice of traveling a lot and staying in people's homes and also receiving many travelers. This is one of the coolest things about traveling, like staying close to people who really know the cities is so much more interesting than staying in hotels with packages of guidebooks, that sucks!
I think Couch Surfing is perfect for me, I'll be able to do what I've always done, but now in a more organized and practical way!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm kind of a walking jukebox. I like almost every musical style I've ever heard in my life. At that moment I have a lot of regional music from Brazil: Forró, Funk, MPB, Reggae, Brega, etc. Besides, I'm really enjoying meeting Reggaeton and Cumbia. Ah, of course, I really like the classics of English and American rock.
I like Latin American and Brazilian cinema, Hollywood like Copolla, Kubrick, Spike Lee, Tarantino, Almodovar, Brian de Palma.
I like History books, Brazilian, Portuguese and Latin American literature. Machado de Assis, Manoel de Barros, Clarice Lispector, Pablo Neruda, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, José Saramago, Mario Benedetti, Eduardo Galeano.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived for 1 month in a Quilombo named "Brejo dos Crioulos" in the north of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Working in the countryside, hunting, living life with those wonderful people who taught me many stories of struggle and resistance of the Brazilian black people. It was a defining moment in my life.
