Overview
About Me
Nomadic Adventurer. I've set foot on 4 continents so far and have a thirst for exploring more. In another words, I've been bitten HARD by the traveling bug. I hope to one day go vacationing on Mars as I've heard the mountains are glorious. Got crushed when I found out I did not make the cut for the Mars One Mission.
I love going out, meeting new people and generally getting the most out of life – whether that’s trying new bars and restaurants or picking up a new sport.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Taking care of others, helping people, and making people smile. Yes – I know that sounds cheesy – but as Elie Wiesel put it: “Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing.”
So with Couchsurfing, I can share my laughs, experience, joy, love, interests, discoveries, etc and in the process cultivating friendship while making the world a smaller place.
Interests
I like to focus my energy on collecting experiences as opposed to 'things' and would much rather spend my money on a trip to a foreign country than on a fancy new car. I'm the type of person who likes to seize opportunities and make the most of every day.
Few of my interests include:
Art, music, museums, philosophy, nature, science, photography, outdoor activities, making friends, meeting new people & seeing the world when learning other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Very Eclectic but range from Root Reggae, Classical Music, Opera, Chamber Music ... to Techno, Bossa Nova, Salsa, Tango, Flamenco, etc.
Movies: Love Scifi genre in general such as "Children of Men", “Upstream Color”, “Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind” to list a few but open to other genre as well such as film noir, thriller, comedy etc.
Books: It would be unfair to name a few as it's hard to choose less than twenty to top my list. Yet, "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy, "Les Misérables" by Victor Hugo, "Madame Bovary" by Gustave Flaubert, "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens among others will be in the list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have yet to do anything that is worthy of bragging about. Hopefully, making it to Mars and be the first human to die there...
Teach, Learn, Share
I learned how to juggle chainsaws from a guy I met in my travelling who used to be a clown in a traveling circus. This may not seem as a particularly useful skill, although I'm confident I can teach you how and throw some bonuses (how to make some great crêpes suzettes, Bouillabaisse, Quiche Lorraine or share some salsa moves).
