ABOUT ME
I'm Hannah and I'm a student at Newcastle University,
studying English Literature and Classics. I'm about to
start a five month placement at Leiden University- I
love to travel, so the idea of being immersed in a
culture for 5 months seemed like a great idea, and the
experience will be a mental refreshment before I
return in February to study for my final exams.
If I had to quickly sum up what I like, I'd say live
music, film, reading, writing, informed and inspired
people, having fun and all that.
PHILOSOPHY
The wisest advice I've ever been given was written on a toilet door in a pub: "Respect other people, mainly just don't be a twat". I think it's a pretty good philosophy to live by.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots and lots. Curretly reading the Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck.
Listening to lots of Pixies, Radiohead, Joy Division, and Beck as always; most recently some Diplo, M.I.A., Buraka Som Systema, Daedelus, Scroobius Pip, Flying Lotus...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched Beijing be pulled down and rebuilt in the run up to the Olympic games. Watched people queue for hours to pay semi-religious hommage to Chairman Mao's pickled body in Tiananman Square.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Egypt, France, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Morocco, Romania, Spain, Turkey
Countries I’ve Lived In
United Kingdom
