I'm a grad student living near the ASU campus. I'm originally from Alaska and still have strong ties there. My interests lean strongly toward the outdoorsy, and I'm obsessed with rock climbing.

PHILOSOPHY

Secular humanist with strong Buddhist leanings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couchsurfed in the strict sense, where I stayed with or hosted someone I hadn't previously met. I have gotten a taste of the youth hostel culture in Europe though, which seems pretty similar. I had a great time in El Chorro, Spain, where I met a Canadian/British couple who took me climbing-definitely a highlight.
