I grew up in Los Angeles and moved all around the United States. Now I'm a New Yorker living in NYC. I also spent some time living in Japan and a short time in Italy. I used to couch surf here and there, but my travels have been slowing down lately due to my studies. I still make an effort to travel when I can. I usually travel with my girlfriend (and my dog if driveable). I've made a few couch surfing friends along the way and I'm hoping to make a few more! My girlfriend and I are very friendly and love to get to know our hosts.

Mostly to meet new people while traveling. I prefer meeting someone new instead of staying in a hotel. Meeting new people = new friendships and stories.
