ABOUT ME

I'm a procrastinator--the kind that does too much and never in the right order. I'm usually ALL OR NOTHING--friends, family, attention span. I am Pitta/Vata so I try to eat a lot of cucumbers. I am a spoiled, selfish American trying every day not to be that way out of ignorance. I wish I knew more about Egypt, electricity, living in poverty, being male and how to work efficiently without distraction. I'm a Good Reads member and LOVE my friends. In my current state I am concentrating on developing a client base in San Francisco and cheering on the USA in the WORLD CUP. I can be bad at calling people back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lived with three awesome guys and a monster of a cat in a canyon cabin who often hosted. In our short 9 months there, three surfers stayed with us from all over...one a director visiting for the Sundance Film Festival.

Big dogs, stuff I've never done, breaking routine, pretending I'm not broke and currently living off financial aid, BEER!, Yoga, working really hard for long periods of time and then crashing/vacationing/pretending I have no responsibilities for other long periods of time, dancing and singing anywhere and everywhere, making lists and schedules that I'll never use or follow, making music, intramural sports (who doesn't love beach volleyball?!), people with brains, snowboarding (just tried it this winter!), going to movie theaters that serve beer, living in NY (planning to move this fall), going to baseball games (we are after all the worlds greatest fans), thinking about playing the saxophone I haven't picked up in a year, putting off learning how to play a traditional Cherokee flute...

Just harvested saguaro cactus fruit for the first time...with a four year old! Kids are amazing. I was humbled. (see new photos)

I want to learn to:
Build a sports car engine
Complete a Triathlon
Eliminate my desire to stay with people who are hard to love

I currently teach:
group fitness classes, Pilates, Hip hop, juggling, making interesting noises with your tongue, how to destroy a cell phone quickly.

I would be willing to teach, if asked, how to more fully articulate all 10 toes, do handstands, breathe sideways, satisfy your lover (male or female) and be a good CS guest/host.
