ABOUT ME

Hi folks! I am David from Germany... I am a pretty relaxed, open-minded and friendly guy with a big curiosity for travelling and a passion for being in nature.

Three years ago, my desire for travelling really caught fire when I was travelling around australia, new zealand and south-east asia for around 8 months. I especially enjoyed the open atmosphere amongst travellers and the chance to see so many new cool things like mountains, caves, waterfalls, crazy traffic or friendly people from all over the world! In the last two years, I was living in Netherlands and Sweden. When I am not travelling, I was a student in mathematics / neuroscience. This is also the field where I am going to work in the near future in Freiburg (Germany).

PHILOSOPHY

I like calm electronic music. Good music has to fit the situation!
Movies are best, if they have a decent, perhaps surprising, story. Like in Truman Show, Inception, Perfect Sense, Ex Machina, Catch me if you Can, Prestige, ...
I like books which are full of new ideas - I love to be surprised or inspired! That can range from Sci-Fi to some autobiographies.

Well ... obviously I could teach German and apart from that, I can teach some math and computer science(haha, I bet you are not interested). We can talk about our human brain. Also, I am decent at poker and board games (chess, backgammon, go) and I would love to meet someone to play a round. I can show you something about photography and share some experiences of my travels. We can cook together or enjoy nature!
