ABOUT ME

I'm a german girl, I was living in France for six years and now came back to Germany to live in Leipzig. I studied Journalism and Film Studies in Lyon and now I'm working as a freelance Filmmaker, I just started a company with my boyfriend. I love sports and electronic music and having a beer with my friends and having fun with my daughter.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have a personal philosophy but a stole one from Bob Dylan - I think it describes me really good:
All I can do is be me, whoever that is.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think CS is one of the best ways to travel. I love to travel and if I don't have time to travel because I'm stuck here with university I love to host people that bring the foreign countrys into my livingroom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hum. I traveled a lot with couchsurfing. One I did a complete trip throug europe only with couchsurfing. Also I surfed a lot in France and in South Africa. At the moment I'm planning a trip to Russia.

兴趣

music: can't live without, I'm doing quite a lot music videos and live acts. love electronic music but also my good old piano.

writing: I write lots of journalism stuff because I studied journalism but I also enjoy writing fiction frome time to time. And of course: scripts!

reading: newspaper, classical books (mainly german, english and french, currently Marcel Proust, short stories, etc. most of the time I have too much work and less time to read.

films: I hate most of the typical hollywood movies. I really enjoy unknown art-house movies from all over the world and german movies. if you come to my house you can be sure that we'll have a discussion about film!

party: normally it's very easy to persuade me to party, even when I've lots of work :D

sports: I'm playing football in a girls soccer team in a girls soccer team, I love swimming and snowboarding

cooking: I don't like cooking all the time because you have to clean after it again, but I'm quite good at it (thanks mum :D)

Oh. There are too much. I love fameless art-house films, music from the 90ies, especially brit-pop, also postrock and indie music and there are really too much books I like. At the moment I'm reading the catcher in the rye (Salinger).

The most amazing thing I've seen in my life was Africa. Incredible continent. I have to go there again.

I can teach you some German, I could play football with you or cook German food for you. Or, hmm... I think I can do lots of things, they simply don't cross my mind now :D
