Hi there, this is Heaklig! I am from the Dominican Republic (country in the Caribbean, American continent), but it happens that I live in the UK (North-East, Newcastle upon Tyne).

I am doing my Master's degree in Electrical Power, so probably if we talk about it I may sound too nerdy, but I like many other stuff like music, cooking, drinking, movies and going out (having a good time basically).

I am a native speaker of Spanish, and I am also studying German. I love getting to meet new people and cultures, so anyone can feel free to be himself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing because it could help improve my travel experience, and I could help other's as well. An important part of travelling is getting to meet new interesting people, so it is simply about people with the same interests collaborating... Who knows what can result from meeting someone new!

Music, Movies, and Books

I particularly do not have a favorite artist or music... But if I had to mention somebody it would be Justin Timberlake :D I also listen rock, pop, latin american music and so! I like watching movies (mainly horror, action and "smart" movies), but most of the time I don't remember the titles, I don't know why (same goes for Books).
