About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy

I moved to Denver in Feb. 2014 from Northern California. I like to whitewater kayak, snowboard, politely play devils advocate for the sake of conversation, drink beer (or Whiskey, or Ouzo), listen to music. I work full-time for the time being and try to get into the mountains everyday I'm not working. I try to not work and travel as much as I can.

I'm really easy going. I enjoy getting to know new people and picking at their brains. I laugh a lot and try to take everything lightly.

"Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking."

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna meet new people, travel, and provide a really inviting environment to travelers coming through my parts of the woods.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't quote every movie I've ever seen, but I enjoy the ones I catch, I love music and play a little guitar. I mostly read nonfiction stuff relating to international politics, technology, or social justice issues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm pretty happy with the route my life has taken and I'm thankful for all the amazing things that have come with it. Stories are best told over a few beers, not IP addresses though :).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn some languages! I could teach people some simple Wordpress or guitar.
