ABOUT ME
PUBLIC NOTICE!
AT THE START OF EVERY SEMESTER I GET LOTS OF REQUESTS FROM STUDENTS WHO ARE COMING TO AARHUS TO STUDY BUT DO NOT HAVE A PLACE TO STAY. THOUGH I REALIZE THAT IT SUCKS AND THAT IT'S HARD TO FIND A PLACE IN AARHUS, I AM NOT RUNNING AN EMERGENCY DORM FOR STUDENTS WHO DID NOT SORT THEIR HOUSING BEFORE THEY CAME. IF YOU NEED AN APARTMENT, GO TO THIS WEBSITE: http://kollegie8000.dk/
Moving on...
I´m 24, and at the moment living it up as student in the maybe not so metropolitan city of Aarhus. Probably, if you asked around, I´d be described as contemplative and caring, but please don´t hold it against me if I seem to fit into some other box when you meet me. For example, I might just turn out to be good fun as well...
PHILOSOPHY
Personal philosophy? I haven´t really worked out a water-tight theory yet, so please accept that I´m still doing my best to figure it out.
Meanwhile, since someone was kind enough to put me into this world, I´ll de my best to stay happy in it. You´re more than welcome to give a hand... I´ll give you one back, I promise...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mainly by sleeping on other people's couches and hopefully giving them a good experience. My place is not exactly a palace.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Too few!
Interests
I´d rather give the full list over a cup of coffee or, even better, a nice cold beer, but since the only decent thing is to put just a little down:
Philosophy. (That´s going to be a long talk...)
Understanding people like yourself. (Hopefully, that´s going to be a long talk as well...)
Literature. (Learning to understand things in beautifully written words... It might be the next thing, but that´s pretty good as well)
Writing. (One thing leads to the other...)
Music. (If you´re really nice, you´ll put on something I´ve never heard before)
Sitting alone in a quiet place and try to think about nothing at all, and when that fails, happilly indulge in any stream of consciousness. (Yes yes, I realize that this is not excactly the spirit of couchsurfing, but since it interests me...)

Music, Movies, and Books
Like I said, put something on and we can talk about from there. Most frequently listened to: Radiohead, Rachmaninov, Keith Jarret, John Coltrane and the ever indecent Mr. Nick Cave.
Books:
Wittgenstein, Heidegger and Parfit top the list in the philosophy department.
Hemingway for fun,
Murakami for out-of-this-world reading,
Dostoyesky for satisfying curiosity,
Jonathan Livingston Seagull is also a good one - A book that really feels like eating cornflakes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The silver mines in Potosí, Bolivia. If you´ve been there I don´t have to explain, if you haven´t I´ll tell you why.
Teach, Learn, Share
Please teach me to make sushi, or a lemon pie, or the difference between good and bad techno music, to play piano, and I´d like to know how to knit a sweater as well, and if you mother will teach me, that would be nice too... Oh, and I don´t know anything about wine either. Or dancing, or photography. I think there´s a lot of others things I don´t know about either.
I do know a bit about whiskey and beer, I´m really good at polishing shoes, I can teach you Danish if you´d like, and chess, and I can make a sink-plug out of rubber band. Maybe I know some useful stuff as well...
