About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel to all 7 continents and 30 countries by the age of 30.

ABOUT ME

This section is always somewhat difficult to fill in. There are so many complexities within every individual that summarizing within a short paragraph seems almost futile and insignificant. But this is why couchsurfing is so important - it allows us to meet one another, to experience the world together, and thereafter we can fill in the "All About You" for ourselves.

So if my path crosses with yours, then you can find out a bit of the "All About Me" :)

PHILOSOPHY

"The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience." - Eleanor Roosevelt

"The more that you read, the more that you'll know. The more that you know, the more places you'll go." - Dr. Seuss

"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities."€ - Dr. Seuss

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have a place of my own, I will most definitely open it up for other CSers. For now, I'm just down to meet new people and kick it with other CSers in the Southern California region.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Amsterdam, Prague, and Berlin. It was a wonderful learning experience and a great way to see a city not just through its tourist sites but also through the eyes of the city's locals! Also crashed at a Peace Corps volunteer's place in Erfoud, Morocco. It was inspiring to see the life of a volunteer and to hear stories about how she had become immersed within this small community. It was a lovely way to see Morocco from a truly unique perspective.

Interests

I consider myself a "DABular," meaning I dabble in so many hobbies / activities so there is little that I am NOT interested in. Below are some of my major interests:

Food.
Forrest Gump.
Boarding (Snow, surf, skate).
Extreme sports.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Chinese. I can teach you how to crochet a scarf or beanie (or even a bearded beanie if you've got the time). I can teach you how to make a perfect sunny-side up egg.

I love to learn about anything and everything, especially that which comes from experience and not from a book (which is why I love traveling and meeting people from all walks of life).

I will share with you my energy and will hopefully pass on my insatiable appetite (for food, for adventure, for life.) :)
