I'm not into having a lot of material things as I tend to be fairly minimalistic..and on the go. I value the ability to change and grow with new experiences and situations, and am always learning SOMEthing. I love camping, growing my own organic food, and generally being environmentally and nutritionally conscious. I hate spending money and have currently settled into a lifestyle which requires very little of it.....my purpose is NOT to be a consumer. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been traveling this way for years using pre-existing friends' couches. Of course that limits the places I go and I'm excited to change that. :)

Interests

Favorite pastimes:
- TRAVELING!!!..often quite spontaneously
- Learning about the healing properties of herbs and the foods we eat
- Playing my guitar and singing
- Researching sustainable living options to leave a lighter footprint
- Playing pool and card games, target practice with a blow gun, puzzles
- Watching comedy, documentaries and The Science Channel
- I love languages and wish I had someone to practice with so I could retain more of what I learn

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...just one?...nonsense!...

I saw a glacier in Alaska (which has now melted out of view)

I once went on a 2200 mile road trip on a motorcycle through 8 states.

I've visited a couple hippie communities that have survived since the late '60s where I met some amazing people and learned to make hammocks, tofu, homemade bread, and countless other things...hippie-types are awesome!
