I have gone through some pretty life altering personal battles and now I am ready to do something I have been wanting to do for a very long time. I sold my house and most my belongings and purchased a halfway completed conversion van so that I can travel the world! I am adventurous & curious about the adventures of others. I like to learn about different people's walks in life because I feel like listening to other's stories makes me more whole in some spiritual type of way. I also like sharing my own story in hopes it might help to inspire others. So my starting point is here in New Orleans and my destination is the Redwood Forests in Northern California. Other than that, I am not planning much. I know nothing about Van Life. I am sure I will learn quickly...I will have too 😵‍💫☺️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am going to begin traveling at the end of this spring and want a more personal interaction than staying at a hotel. I have seen so many awesome reviews about couchsurfing.com and I want explore this wonderful opportunity to connect with others. I also just started a new job that is a 1099 job and commission based and requires travel...but not enough per diem to cover all of my travel expenses. That being said, Couchsurfing.com seemed like the next most logical step!
