My name is Heather Bogantz and I am 23 years old. I grew up on a mini farm outside of Columbus Ohio. I graduated from a small university in Ohio and studied marketing and video production.
I am enjoying my 20's by traveling around the United States working seasonally. I have spent 3 summers working in Glacier National Park and I am looking forward to my first season working at a ski resort in Colorado.

I am on couchsurfing because I have a strong desire to see the world and meet people from all sorts of places and backgrounds. Since I have decided to put my career life away while I'm in my young 20's, money can be tight at times...but I am so excited to give couchsurfing a shot, I have heard a lot of great things about this app.

Music - I am a big fan of all types of music...I grew up on country music but I have definitely broadened my music taste to all types! Some of my favorite bands are Mumford and Sons, Kuinka, and RKS.
Movies - Les Mis would have to be my all time favorite movie! The Office is by far my favorite show. I am also a big fan of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Forest Gump.
Books - I never get to read as many books as I'd like to, but my most recent book was Handsmaid Tale. Such an incredible book. I am currently making my way through the Davinci Code this summer.

This summer I have been working in Glacier National Park and I am well over 20 summits this season and it's not even the end of August yet! My goal was to reach 10 summits and 300 miles of trails...it's the middle of August and I have to set new goals because I reached it already!
My new goal is to do 30 Summits this season and 500 miles of trails.

I am not sure what hosts will ask of me to share, but I am very easygoing, flexible and I strive to have a positive attitude in every situation. I can be as present or as invisible as a host would prefer. I tend to travel light, and will typically bring things from home to share with the friends that I make as I travel around. I will be neat and clean as can be and would always be down for adventures and getting to know my hosts! Please don't be shy to ask for help with anything that you may need, if I'm able - I will gladly help out with whatever you may ask of me - dishes, providing groceries, cleaning, or anything!
