My name is Heather and I'm 30 years old. I'm born and raised in San Diego, CA but have been traveling full time the last 13 months. I work remotely for a software development company so I've been lucky enough to combine my career with my love of travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveled so long alone, I've grown tired of hotels, airbnbs, and hostels. I'd like to make more connections with locals while in their home countries. I've learned that the people is really what makes a travel experience so wonderful. If I ever settle down I would love to host as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went scuba diving on Easter Island and swam along a sunken Moai statue. Pretty cool!
