Howdy,
I grew up in Southern California and while I love the sunshine and the ocean I have traded the beach for the forest and now live in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.
I don't need much, but I have found that good food, good beer, good music, good conversation and a good view make life much more enjoyable. A hot shower every once in a while doesn't hurt either ;)
I have lived in a shared house with three other adults, which has hosted couchsurfers in the past and I have met some great people through this app!
