About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and do as much as I can. Afterall, when you die, or if your house burns to the ground - you get people you've met, and experiences you've had to make up you! Even if an experience is bad - does it matter? Makes for a great story later on...
ABOUT ME
I'm an honest individual, who's looking for fun adventures. Despite mishaps, I'm generally a great person to have around to laugh at the bumps on the road we travel in life. When I travel, it's all about the experiences, the people, and the stories to gain! I'm respectful of various cultures and viewpoints that the people on this earth have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Tried before - but got no responses in South East Asia. I was a new traveler. It's amazing how much you can grow and how far you can go by yourself if you push the limits. I knocked off most of the countries on my 'visited' list during this year abroad.
Interests
I enjoy moments where we see a greater good taking place on this planet. When people who speak a different language offer aid, or go that extra distance to make your journey an incredible one. Sometimes bad things happen and life is unpredictable, but those are the moments we are tested and that's when we feel something bigger working. I enjoy writing, swimming, and socializing. I'm big into writing people I've met during my travels and sending snail mail as frequently as I can to maintain those stronger connections.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm trying to read the top 100 Books list including some of the more difficult classics like 'Pride and Prejudice'. I was delighted in 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde', as the work was genuinely genius!
I used to watch a lot of television and movies, but now don't own a t.v. and can't sit through my favorite movie - which back in the day was Lord of the Rings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving in Sipidan, Semporna - off of Borneo. The island has been ransacked by pirates, and as a result nobody lives there but the military. You need a permit to dive there, and it is one of the most active living reefs left on the planet. Every time I see sharks my heart jumps to my throat, and it's a head game - but there were too many to care about, and the sea turtles make me envious of the chillin' life under those blue blue waters.
I used to train dolphins, sea lions, and walruses over 3 years in Niagara Falls, Canada. It was an amazing job for that time, and I loved everyday of it! I can't believe I swam with dolphins and got paid to do it in front of 5,000 people several times a day. I have truly been blessed with an outgoing personality that landed me that opportunity.
Living in Korea, was a challenge at first, but truly helped me find some of the most amazing friends I could ever ask for. I really valued my time, and came to understand myself better. I hope to remember the hard times along with the good, as they make me who I am today!
Teach, Learn, Share
