Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a first timer on couchsurfing, but I'm looking forward to new adventures!

Interests

I love to read, write, and play the ukulele. I enjoy talking to people and learning about other places and cultures.
And I especially love to try new things and explore. I'd rather spend several days walking to explore a place or city by foot than go by car or bus (if I can avoid it) and I'm just as likely to spend hours admiring a beautiful sight or landscape as I am to spend seconds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job and went backpacking for the first time this summer. My trip is ending soon, but so far, with the places I've been and the people I've met, it has been of the best experiences of my life.

I'm still pretty new to backpacking, but I'll be happy to share my stories and hope that you'll also share yours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to help out around the house/apartment/where ever I'm staying and would love to cook you the best carrot cake you've ever eaten, if you're a cake kind of person. And if you're gluten free, I can make you an equally fabulous gluten-free carrot cake.
Ans if you're not a cake person... you probably won't want to eat anything else that I can cook (I'm still working on just about everything else) but I'd be happy to try!
