ABOUT ME

I'm a small-town girl at heart but love the big city. I like live comedy, drinking beer, talking about spirituality, watching hockey, and making new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is 1% what happens to you and 99% how you react to it. You have complete control over your own experience, so when something shitty happens, you have the power to turn things around. This has helped me a lot when traveling because it can be really disheartening when things go wrong. I say, "assault the ambush"! Attack things straight on with perseverance and you can do anything!

Oh yeah, and beer makes everything ok :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling with my best friend Amy so we are looking to couch surf and stay with people along the way to cut down on our travel expenses.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None at all! I'm new to this. But I have hosted people before. Not through this website, but my old roommates and I hosted a couple visiting Vancouver from Mexico. They ended up staying in our basement for free for 5 months! We're going to their wedding in Mexico next year :)

I am a good cook! I play a few instruments and sing so I could definitely entertain you. I play a mean game of Charades. I know how to knit. I know quite a bit about wine and beer.
