About Me

Hello, my name's Heather! My friends would describe me as adventurous, positive, thoughtful, and creative. I love to dance and I'm always up for just about anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm curious about life, kind, make an effort to give more than I take, and I think Couchsurfer is filled with people who have similar values. I like the community aspect of this site because I don't always have the time or money to travel but I still want to meet people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy anything upbeat, smooth, or funky. Also, I always have Queen on replay. I normally gravitate towards non-fiction books but have a soft spot for books that take me to another world, which may explain my love for travel. As for movies, I'm easy to please. The most recent movie I've seen is Spirited Away and I thought it was fantastic!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Practiced Kung Fu outside the Shaolin Temples in China for 2 weeks

What I Can Share with Hosts

Respect, honesty, humor, independence, good conversation, a copious amount of gratitude, and an Atlanta tour guide for if you're ever in the area! I'm good at following rules and I think it's important to be on the same page before and during a stay so I'm all about communication. I'm not a loud person, clean up after myself, and come prepared. If I'm allowed to use the kitchen, I'll have everything I need before hand (even salt!) so I won't have to borrow anything. I'd love to spend time with my hosts, learn from them, go out with them, and cook a meal for them! My go-to is spaghetti (because I can't mess it up) but if we're feeling adventurous maybe we can find a new recipe to try. That being said, I know everyone has busy lives so I can be a low-key guest too. I've never stayed with anyone from Couch Surfer before but I've couch/floor surfed at friends' places before and have had good experiences with AirBNB too.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Costa Rica, Germany
