About Me

Random men, please stop friending me.

We prefer to host women, couples, or families.

I live with my family in the "Texas Hill Country" suburbs of northwest San Antonio. We enjoy outings in nature, surrounding Hill Country towns, and the city of San Antonio. Hill Country has vineyards, state parks, rivers, caves, and wildflowers. We're 30 minutes from the Riverwalk.

We love to get out, explore, and meet people.

I have a history of solo travel and hostelling, traveling and hostelling with my husband and now with husband and kids.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My family and I want to meet people from around the world!

Since my first Hosteling International stay in New York City in 1992, I was hooked on budget travel and meeting other travelers. I still stay in hostels when I can, enjoy traveling in Mexico especially, and have introduced my children to the joys of travel. My husband and I were stationed in Japan for four years, near Tokyo. We got to travel around Asia, and adopted our two children from China.

Although we don't have enough time to travel as much as we'd like, we still enjoy meeting other travelers and exploring the world.
