Hi there! My name is Heather. I am a professional freelance natural light photographer from the United States. Missouri if you wanna know the state - misery. ha! I was born in the 80s but I'm not allowed to claim being an 80s baby because apparently 89 doesn't count! I've been taking pictures since I was 15. I have dreamed of traveling the world since long before then. Before I die I hope to have crossed off all of the countries on my list of places to visit, which is pretty much all of them but I still have a long life and lots of time! I am a Mom over everything, I have 2 beautiful little girls. I hope someday they have wild hearts and free spirits and do everything they want to do with their lives just as I intend to do. They are my world and then some!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to use it as a tool when I travel and to offer up my space when I am home to those traveling. I think this is a really neat tool for travelers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Became a Mother, it was never in my plans but life has a funny way of sending you the way you need to go and I think I need those sweet little girls more than I thought. They keep me at a mature level balance and I've been able to do things I love still while loving them. Its been an amazing journey so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone the basics in photography! I may not always have a way to edit pictures right at the time but I can teach anyone how to edit in Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop. I can cook okay and so I guess I could teach that. I don't have many teach worthy skills. ha!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I talk a lot so I think I'd share lots of stories! And my pictures! I love telling people about my adventures. I can also cook for anyone who will eat!
