I live in a beautiful area in North Queensland, right near the beach, and would like to share this great spot with other travellers. My house is on a 5 acre block of land, with tropical gardens, a private track to a quiet beach and it is a great place to relax and unwind. I have lived here for twenty years and still get mesmerized by the beauty of my beach, the amazing birdlife and other wildlife, some of which are not so friendly.
I love to spoil my guests with home cooking and if I am available I would enjoy showing you around the Hinchinbrook Way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently met a guy on a plane who told me about Couchsurfing. It sounded perfect for me. I have oodles of time and energy to give to other people, and whenever I travel I love to meet the locals. That is one of my favourite things. Also I know from travelling, some times you really need somewhere to chill out for a few days, and I have that perfect place.
