About Me

I've travelled about a bit and lived in Germany, Japan and Slovakia. Now living back in my hometown and working at the local university.
I'm not a party animal so I'd rather host people who are happy reading a book or two, listening to the occasional record, chatting about stuff and playing with the cat.
I feel like couchsurfing puts pressure on people to be sociable and I know that introverts also like to travel so I'd just like to say that if you want to chat, that's great, but if you just want to be left alone, that's fine too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I finally have a place with a spare room so I can comfortably accomodate guests. I like getting to know new people from different countries. I also like the idea of helping people to travel without needing to spend loads of money.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right now I can't think of anything I've done that's been wildly amazing.

I'm happy to share my home and the affection of my cat for a day or two.
