Overview
About Me
I've lived in Brooklyn for three years now and previously have lived in Boston, Be'er Sheva (Israel/Palestine), Jerusalem (Israel/Palestine), and New Jersey. I travel a lot solo or with friends. I am married (and absolutely adore my partner).
Starting in the fall of 2018, I am working as an attorney at the Brooklyn Defender Services, a public defense office in Brooklyn, New York. I am passionate about social justice, racial justice, and prison abolition.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My best friend, since the age of 10(!), loves couchsurfing. We are going on a trip together to Japan and she asked me to signup. I am looking forward to learning all about it :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am obsessed with Harry Potter but my book interests are otherwise pretty unpredictable. I like everything from Fahrenheit 451 to Confessions of a Shopaholic. I am recently getting into more nonfiction, especially about America, having recently read Loaded: A Disarming History of the 2nd Amendment and Stamped from the Beginning. But, as I write this, I am reading a mix of poetry and short stories in The Fire This Time edited by Jesmyn Ward.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am happy to give a beginners tap lesson, help somebody practice English, bring over some drinks, or cook for you! Sorry, for liability reasons I can't give you any legal advice ;)
