About Me
Curious. Energetic. Explorer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before I started traveling, I wanted to bring the world closer to me, so I began opening up my home to couchsurfers, starting with a groovy hippie living room concert with Jim the Traveling Hippie Musician.
Now, I'm living in a small town north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and happy to host folks in this area.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wild by Cheryl Strayed. Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi. On Gold Mountain by Lisa See. Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. So many more... books that give me a glimpse into other cultures, lifestyles, and the common humanity among all of us.
Deep appreciation for all music, genres, eras, talent, choreography. I love loudly singing along alone or with others. I love being introduced to new music and falling in love with it.
I like comedies, indies, drama, super hero, sci-fi. No horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took my two teen boys on a cross-country road trip from California to Florida and back, with zero itinerary. Had an absolute blast!
Also, I ran for school board in my local home town. Didn't win... still amazing.
Became a foster mother!
Sold everything and moved to Mexico in 2017!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - Certified yoga teacher and volunteer English teacher - happy to share both!
Learn - I would love to learn one or more other languages and have someone to practice with. Cooking different cuisines is also fun to learn.
Share - experiences, like hiking and paddle boarding or surfing, dancing!
