Interests

Breathing fresh air. Preparing/eating good food. Moving my body, preferably outside. Music, singing loud in the car/shower, drinking coffee, visiting grandmama, cooking, running, bicycling, kayaking, lemon bismarks, winter walks, vitamin-D bathing, coloring, and so on.

Rlly tho, actively participating in things that are challenging and help me become a healthier, whole-er human being. Helping others do the same.

Music is life. Cumbia, acoustic, chicha peruana, samba, anything acoustic, Gustavo Santaolalla while cooking, Rage Against the Machine on certain days, Cultura Profetica, Mar de Copas....and anything acoustic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made and slept in a quinzee in Canada in January. It was.....cool.
Bicycle trip from Orange City, Iowa to Jackson, Mississippi.
Bicycled MPLS to Winona, MN in a day...kayaked MPLS to Winona in 3.
Rim to rim to rim in Grand Canyon....in 24 hours, during a heat wave, while water lines were down!
Backpacked in Torres del Paine, Chile.
Semester abroad in Buenos Aires.
Worked at a clinic a couple months and backpacked in Peru.
Marathons/halves.
35/50 states.
