Overview
About Me
I've moved to the countryside near Lyon after living in Paris for a year and I am so much happier! Lyon is like a mini-Paris without all the drawbacks of a large city. I tell all my friends that it's a must-see!
I also lived in Atlanta for 26 years and I would be happy to share suggestions or help with anyone going there or Seattle. Both cities are wonderful to visit - and to live!
ABOUT ME
I'm a nomad, a seeker, a lover of life and people. I try to bring joy and an open mind and heart to everyone I meet. I wish I could live indefinitely in order to experience all the mysteries and wonders of this world.
PHILOSOPHY
I am so lucky to have this life; I don't want to squander one moment of it! But that doesn't mean I have any right to tell others how to live it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've couchsurfed and I've hosted many wonderful people. I believe firmly in its mission (although I'm disappointed that it now charges its users for some things). While I now live rather far away from where most surfers will be visiting, I'm still close enough to come to the city to meetup and show people around. I also love being part of the community and doing things together with like-minded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is a small thing, but something very precious to me: being deep inside a cave in a vast, open space underground all alone. It was so deep and dark and silent - like being inside of the earth and part of it at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope that I lead through example, and the most important impression I try to make on others is that humans can be kind, thoughtful, open-minded, appreciative, and trustworthy. Other than that, if you don't know Texas Hold'em, I would be thrilled to teach you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My friendship;
My respect for them and their home;
Love and affection for any pets they might have;
Any work that they need help with;
A continued relationship that spans many locales;
An extensive network of people who are always willing to help;
Crazy stories (the wilder, the better!)
