ABOUT ME

I'm a very adaptable person, always excited to try new things. I can go from a lazy day watching movies on my couch to hiking to the top of a mountain or staying out with friends until 4am.

Interests

I love music, movies, food, and having a good time in general! I love outdoor activities such as biking, camping, hiking, and even just sitting around in the grass chit chatting. I'm also a huge fan of going to concerts, going dancing, trying new foods, and checking out local hot spots.

Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton movies, basically any music, and pretty much any book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2011, I got the opportunity to fly above glaciers in Haines, Alaska in a 6 passenger plane.

In the winter of 2013, I traveled through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam for 3 months. I saw Angkor Wat, the ancient ruins of the Siam empire, learned how to scuba dive, spent a day with children at an orphanage, and met a ton of cool people!

In August of 2015, I moved to Turkey for 9 months. There, I learned some Turkish, explored the culture, went paragliding, visited historic sites, and ate some delicious food!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my joy of baking and cooking! I'm a huge dessert fan and would love to make my hosts delicious treats in return for their lovely hospitality! I'm also an ESL teacher (English as a second language) and would love to help people practice.
