I am a 25 year old female from Kingston, Canada. I recently graduated from the Mediation-ADR program at Durham College. Now I am starting my career in Brampton as an Aboriginal Courtworker Assistant.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed a lot when I traveled Europe in 2016. My friend and I stayed with 4 different hosts over the span of 5 weeks in Europe. Some experiences were amazing, others were not. Either way, we were still very grateful to stay somewhere for free.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I ever couch surfed was in Rotterdam. I stayed with someone while looking for a place to live. He was very friendly and showed me around the city.
The other times were in Europe as well, as I explained above.

Interests

I like penguins, chocolate, tea, hockey, swimming, new adventures, travelling, meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a variety of music.. basically everything besides rap or screamo music.

I have a hard time finding books I enjoy, but I do read a wide rage of books, and same with movies. I found out the other day that I like books with a good story, but they also teach me something, whether its culture, jobs, ways of life, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to the Netherlands on my own for a year!

I am willing to share all of my travelling stories, what its like to be a Canadian. I like having debates with people about certain topics.. or in general just talking about interesting facts and knowledge.

I want to learn what anyone will teach me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately where I live there is no place for a surfer. But I would love to show someone around the city of Kingston if I am there, or in Mississauga. I travel back and forth a lot, so depends on where I am at that time.
